Dogs Bay, Connemara, Ireland
NEW SERIES OF SMALL IRISH LANDSCAPES
To free the soul and truly achieve peace is to visit and walk along Dogs Bay in Connemara, Ireland. To quote from the movie 'The Matchmaker' it's 'Where the past comes back to greet you and touches your very soul.'

One of the beginning of a brand NEW series of pastel paintings that will truly transport you into the moment of tranquility. It is 6 1/2" x 12". Small in size but big in aura.
Lest We Forget
Taking 3rd Prize in the Pastel Guild of Europe's September competition, this Lancaster Bomber shows the iconic aircraft readying for take-off in a blaze of flood lights and elongated shadows in the moonlight. The tail of the plane where the rear-gunner sits in the ghostly haze, a portent of what's to come?
The Dark Side of the Shmoo
My famous muse, Shmoo. 30x40cm on Canson Touch Black. None of my Shmoo originals will ever be for sale during my lifetime as he is too precious to me. But prints are available for ANY of my works.
Camargue
Shortlisted for the SAA Artist of the Year Competition in 2024 these glistening Camargues gallop through the seas in Southern France being herded by the stallion onto grounds anew with bountiful opportunity and safety. There they can graze and await their foals in the spring.
Curragh on the West
Featured in the SAA Magazine in 2023 this Curragh on a beach on the coast of Connemara, Ireland, is my favourite watercolour painting. This curragh has been used and kept in perfect condition for over 40 years, still used to this day.

Hello and Welcome to PamelaClingan.com
I have a confession to make ...
...all my artwork comes from my heart & soul.

When I work on a portrait, the most important part is creating the emotion between owner and pet, capturing personality, heart and a piece of their soul.

My name is Pam and I am an award-winning artist, receiving 6 awards in 2024.

In July '23 we lost our 'Snowy'. To bring me some peace from crying, I sat down, picked up some pastels and painted his portrait. I knew when it was finished because when I looked at it, I started to cry again.  His portrait hangs on my wall and when I look at it, it brings me enormous pleasure, comfort and memories of my beautiful boy.

Asking someone to paint your friend is a big decision and it's important to find an artist who can truly capture the essence of your beloved pet. I promise that I take an incredible amount of care and time getting details right, please do have a look at customer Reviews and Recommendations.

Customer's Delight!
A Stunning Revelation - I was delighted to receive this photograph of one of my watercolour paintings framed and hanging in pride of place on the wall.  It was from a photo taken by Sally Brooks at Derwent Water and featured lots of lovely sparkly paints. This original was Sold and went back to Sally!
